I observed this today and looked it up. Kind of neat.
Now that I think about it, swarms of ants have had a really positive influence on my life:
- I keep a spotless kitchen, because there’s no other choice
- They’ve forced me to research the workings of microwaves
- Roaches, once so repulsive to me, are now almost laughable next to the sinister plague of ants
